Our client is well renowned for offering a range of high-quality products and services to the irrigation and mining industries.
Based in Brisbane’s Northern Suburbs, an opportunity is currently available for an experienced Fitter Machinist to join their well-established Manufacturing Team.

Duties will include the Manufacture of Machined Parts with the use of various Mechanical Workshop Machines. With a casual pay rate from $40.00 to $45.00 / hour (based on experience) and opportunity for permanency after qualifying.

Key Requirements for the Role

• Cert III Engineering/Fitter and Turner
• Previous Experience in a manufacturing workshop environment including operation of Manual Lathes and Milling Machines, Pedestal and Radial Arm Drills
• Demonstrated experience with CNC Machines (Lathes and Milling Machines)
• Driving Licence and reliable transport
• Hardworking, reliable, presentable and punctual
• Pass a physical assessment
• Pass a DRUG AND ALCOHOL test
