About the opportunity:

Building on our continued success and growth, we are currently hiring for an experienced professional to join our team as an Associate Director – Asset Management & Maintenance based in Sydney.

The successful candidate will play a lead role in the development and delivery of Asset Management & Maintenance projects, providing expert advice across multi-disciplinary projects. As a subject matter expert, you will support the State Managers in New South Wales, Queensland and Victoria and the Director Asset Management & Maintenance with key client accounts, selling the Asset Management & Maintenance service line offerings.

The key focus areas for the Asset Management & Maintenance service line includes the following:

Development of Asset Management & Maintenance strategies. Asset management & maintenance reviews and assessments. Enterprise asset management & maintenance development. Standards review and development. Application of intelligent asset management systems, technology and solutions. Infrastructure reliability assessments and advice. Route asset management planning and development. Asset audits, due diligence assessments and assurance reviews.

You will be involved in leading asset management & maintenance teams, providing people leadership and service line capability to deliver asset solutions that meet the needs of our client organisations. You will have the opportunity to act as a project manager on consultancy contracts and manage, or contribute to the completion of consultancy contracts, delivering projects on time and to budget.

Experience & Qualifications:

Essential:

Qualified to at least a degree level or equivalent in subject area. Minimum of 10+ years’ experience in the Rail industry. Subject Matter Expertise in the area of Track Infrastructure. Proven track record delivering asset management & maintenance initiatives/solutions. Proven ability to translate client needs into working solutions. Developed Report Writing ability. Well-developed skills in problem solving and written/verbal communication, collaborative working and time/priority management. Excellent stakeholder management, communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to sustain relationships with customers, identify and develop opportunities and manage these through to new work. Experience using Enterprise Asset Management Systems (such as Ellipse, Maximo, SAP) preferably within the rail sector.

Desirable:

Membership of relevant professional body. Formal Asset Management Qualification. Understanding of Australian market and client relationships in Transport/Rail sector.
