About the Centre

Pascoe Vale Outdoor Pool and Coburg Olympic Swimming Pool are part of Active Merri-bek, owned by the City of Merri-bek and run by YMCA Victoria. These two great locations are community hubs with everything needed to cool off on a hot day, hone diving skills, or simply swim laps.

About the role

Working in two locations, we have two great opportunities:

Customer Service Officer

As a Customer Service Officer you will be greeting members, responding to enquiries, and performing general but important administrative tasks. Our Customer Service Officer's always put the customer experience at the forefront of all interactions with people within the community. For this role you will require First Aid & CPR.

Café Attendant

As a Cafe Attendant you will be responsible for high quality food and beverage preparation and great customer service. For this role you will require First Aid, CPR, and DoFoodSafely Certificate of Completion.

These are casual positions with an hourly rate of $30.13 + Super & Y benefits.

About you

Experience is desirable but not required, if you have any of the following skills we'd love to hear from you:

• Communication - Ability to communicate with a variety of people varying in age, ability and background
• Teamwork - Team focused attitude, with ability to work with a range of people to achieve outcomes
• Engagement - Ability to engage with customers to create an engaging and welcoming environment
• Basic computer skills

Essential Qualifications

• HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
• HLTAID011 Provide First Aid
• Do Food Safely certificate
