Vestas New Zealand is expanding its Power Plant Solution department and is seeking Engineers, Lead Engineers, and Specialists to join their team. This exciting opportunity in New Zealand offers career growth and development for Grid Engineers seeking new challenges.

The Power Plant Solution team manages all grid aspects throughout project sales, construction, and service phases in the APAC region. You will collaborate with regional engineering professionals and work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive and compliant grid solutions. These roles involve technical and stakeholder management from presales to service on multiple projects.

For Lead Engineer positions, we seek candidates with experience in

Leading generator grid connections Power system assessment, and Generator and power systems modelling Negotiation skills and experience in project execution within the EPC framework are also highly valued.

As a Specialist, you will,

Develop technical expertise within the regional grid team, Conduct formal and informal training, and maintain a documented technical knowledge base Develop technical expertise within the regional grid team, Conduct formal and informal training, and maintain a documented technical knowledge base Interface for internal cross-functional collaboration between Vestas regional and global teams and external stakeholder collaboration  Support Vestas in developing and supporting the wider renewable industry through integrated participation in technical forums and conferences.
