The Position:

Responsible for effectively managing P&L and food costs Responsible for effectively managing kitchen operations/logistics including stock control  Understand and manage client expectations Supervision of Chefs in relation to day-to-day operations Ensure compliance with Healthy, Safety and Environment requirements  Our Benefits: All flights to and from Brisbane or Sunshine Coast Accommodation, meals and uniforms provided whilst on site  Access to staff discounts with companies including insurance  Traineeship opportunities for eligible employees Career development via our internal Learning Management System Internal opportunities within our large global organisation Minimum Criteria: Australian Trade Certification or Cert III in Commercial Cookery essential Previous leadership experience preferred  High volume catering, including bulk catering and function/banquet experience Experience in a mining village operation preferred but all professional kitchen experience considered Previous experience working in a remote setting desired Strong leadership skills, self-motivated and can demonstrate initiative on the job Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service and management Police check of Validity within 3 months
