About the role
AGL has an exciting opportunity to join our Operational Services & Optimisation team as a Process Automation Analyst. Reporting to the Strategic Operational Excellence Lead, you will act as the bridge between the Stakeholders & Developers during delivery & implementation of Robotics Process Automation (RPA) and AI; monitor and support & resolve issues for automated processes that are working in Production/Live environment.
About you’ll be doing:
Requirements Gathering: Work closely with stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business requirements for automation projects.
Process Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of existing business processes to identify areas for automation and process improvements.
Testing and Validation: Conduct thorough testing of automation workflows to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to business requirements.
Deployment and Support: Collaborate with the development team to deploy automation solutions into production environments and provide ongoing support and maintenance. Proactively plan for operational impacts on vendors and systems with internal business stakeholders and vendor/s to ensure successful delivery.
Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to ensure alignment between business objectives and automation initiatives.
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of automation processes, workflows, and technical specifications.
What you’ll bring:
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Able to work independently to resolve discrepancies, defects, incidents or problems with understanding of the business and system impacts.
Demonstrates an aptitude for learning and assists in evaluating multiple RPA technologies and helps in the selection process.
Have an IT development background or a bachelor’s degree in information technology (or similar)
Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role, with a focus on process improvement.
