An opportunity has become available to be the Executive Assistant within the Office of the Deputy Director-General in Access Canberra.
In this role you will work closely with the Business Manager to support the Head of Access Canberra and Chief Operating Officer to lead a busy, challenging and high-profile organisation that delivers a range of regulatory functions and government services.
With every day being different from the last, the Executive Assistant’s responsibilities are diverse and include diary and email management, preparation of correspondence, secretariat and administrative support, organising travel and accommodation, and coordination of information requests.
This position also has a critical role in developing, mentoring and supporting other executive assistants within Access Canberra, and supports the work of the Business Manager and Directorate Liaison Officer to achieve positive outcomes for Access Canberra.

Eligibility/Other requirements:
Demonstrated experience in an executive office working to multiple executives and relevant qualifications are highly desirable. The ability to work flexibly under limited supervision. Strong understanding of the ACT Public Service and the operational responsibility for a large regulatory agency would be highly desirable, but not required.Notes: A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and may be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months. Selection may be based on application and referee reports only. This position operates in a workplace designed for activity-based working (ABW). Under ABW arrangements, officers do not have a designated workstation/desk and work remote routinely.
