Job Description:

We are looking for a versatile Senior Business Analyst/Technical Writer with a strong background in both business analysis and technical writing, particularly in the context of Google Assured Workloads. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of business processes, excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate technical concepts into clear and concise documentation.

Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with stakeholders including product managers, developers, and compliance officers to gather requirements and understand business needs related to Google Assured Workloads.
  2. Analyze existing business processes and workflows to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization within the Google Assured Workloads environment.
  3. Work closely with technical teams to document system requirements, specifications, and user stories, ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance requirements.
  4. Develop comprehensive documentation including technical specifications, user guides, training materials, and compliance documentation for applications built within Google Assured Workloads.
  5. Translate complex technical concepts into easy-to-understand documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  6. Conduct reviews and audits of documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to organizational standards and best practices.
  7. Provide support to technical teams during the development and implementation phases, clarifying requirements and assisting with documentation updates as needed.
  8. Stay informed about Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, Google Assured Workloads, and relevant industry regulations to ensure documentation remains current and compliant.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  2. Proven experience as a business analyst and technical writer, with a focus on building applications within Google Assured Workloads.
  3. In-depth knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and tools, particularly those related to security and compliance.
  4. Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand complex business processes and translate them into clear and actionable requirements.
  5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  6. Proficiency in documentation tools and software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, and Confluence.
  7. Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality documentation that meets the needs of the audience.
  8. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools such as Jira.
  2. Familiarity with industry compliance standards such as HIPAA, GDPR, or SOC 2.
  3. Google Cloud certification(s) such as Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Architect or Google Cloud Certified - Professional Data Engineer.
