Our clinics in Cairns are currently seeking a Medical Receptionist to join the team on a casual basis, working at our sites in Cairns and Mount Sheridan, between the core hours of 7:45am-6pm

Role Overview: As a Casual Medical Receptionist, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring smooth clinic operations. Your responsibilities will include:
Patient Interaction: Greet patients and callers professionally and courteously.Assist patients with appointment scheduling over the phoneExplain intake forms to new patients. Administrative Tasks: Manage medical records confidentially and efficiently.Process patient payments (cash, Eftpos, direct billing).Handle internal emails and inquiries.Maintain a tidy reception waiting area. Collaboration: Work autonomously and as part of a team.Communicate with referring doctors and clinical staff courteously. Confidentiality: Maintain patient personal and financial information confidentiality. Availability: Must be available on FridayFill in the roster when staff are on annual or sick leave.Qualifications and Skills:
Understanding of medical terminology. Excellent communication skills. Excellent computer skills Radiology experience preferred but not essentialDesired Traits:
Bubbly personality and ability to think on your feet. Calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.How to Apply:
