The Position

As a Personal Care Attendant (PCA) you will be working at our Bartonvale Village and will be responsible for providing care in a respectful and professional manner to our residents, maintaining privacy, respect, and dignity at all times. This is a casual position, with shifts including AM, PM and sleep over.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Supporting and assisting residents with daily activities including continence management, showering, dressing, personal grooming
  • Ensure residents to receive their medication on time
  • Assist in the daily preparation, service and delivery of meals and functions to our residents
  • Where required, manage laundering for residents
  • Any other reasonable duty requirement as requested.

Essential Criteria

As part of the application process, you will be required to provide a National Police Check, proof of right to work in Australia, participate in pre-employment assessment, verification of identification and qualifications.

  • Demonstrated experience in aged care or similar
  • Certificate 3 in Aged Care, Disability, Individual Support, or equivalent
  • Have or be able to obtain a suitable National Police Check.
  • First Aid & CPR Certificate (or ability to obtain).
  • Valid Car Licence & reliable transport
  • Ability to lift to 20KG.
