  • Autonomous Role with Impact: This is a newly created role to support our growth strategy. You’ll start by focusing on new business development in the industrial sector, with opportunities to manage key accounts as the business expands.

 
About the Role:

  • Business Development: You’ll focus on expanding our customer base, with an emphasis on acquiring new industrial clients across Wollongong, Port Kembla, and the surrounding areas. Over time, your territory will expand to Southern Sydney, Southern Highlands, and the South Coast.
  • Customer Engagement: Actively connect with prospective customers through cold calling, in-person visits, and strategic outreach, building and expanding a strong network.
  • Market Insight: Stay informed on industry trends and leverage your knowledge to drive business growth and strategy.
  • Package: Base Salary + Super, Company Car, Phone + Laptop. Profit Share Bonuses paid annually

 
About You:

  • Experience: You have a proven track record as a Business Development Manager, or you are an internal sales professional in the construction or industrial sectors ready to step up.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with masonry products, waterproofing, and general builder supplies is highly desirable. You’re eager to help us target and secure industrial clients.
  • Customer Focused: Skilled at cold calling, relationship-building, and driving business growth.
  • Autonomous & Driven: Capable of independently managing and growing your customer base with minimal supervision, leveraging your initiative and self-direction.
  • Travel Ready: Willing to travel within your territory to engage with clients. A driver’s license is essential.
