Family Violence Support Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Family Violence Support Specialist to provide outreach case management support to women and women with children who have experienced or are currently experiencing family violence.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Providing case management support to clients in accordance with TSA case management models and standards of practice.
  • Ongoing assessment of client's issues from initial intake to exit.
  • Developing individual case plans in collaboration with clients, including a range of interventions that address goals of clients.
  • Implementing and actively leading case plans.
  • Maintaining progress of individual case plans and reviewing regularly.

This is a fixed-term part-time position, 30.4 hours per week, based in Frankston VIC. The salary for this role is $70,000 - $80,000 per annum, in accordance with SCHADS Level 5 Award.

Key Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Social Work (essential).
  • Experience working in the family violence sector (desirable).
  • Experience in specialist family violence and/or child well-being work (highly desirable).
  • Demonstrated case management experience and skills.
  • Highly developed time management and work prioritisation skills with an ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
  • Advanced computer skills, including experience in data and record management.
  • A Victorian Driver's Licence (essential).
