Role Description/Criteria

St Kevin's PS is looking for a passionate suitably qualified Classroom Teacher (.8) and Literacy Leader POL (.2).  This positions will begin at commencement of Term 1, 2025. Please address the criteria outlined in the attached document and complete the Application for Employment form. (attached below).

Application Procedure

St Kevin's Primary School is looking for an energetic, passionate, dedicated  and innovative Classroom Teacher (.8) with Literacy Leader POL (.2) for 2025 to join our growing community.  

Our vision encompasses catering for each student's needs while encouraging collaboration and action. This position will commence on at the beginning of Term 1, 2025.

The successful applicant must have

- full registration or provisional registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching

- be accredited to teach Religious Education in a Catholic Primary School.

- knowledge of the Child Safe Standards and of the expectations of a staff member in adhering to them

- be committed to maintaining the standards as set out in our Child Safe Code of Conduct

- a positive learning disposition 

- be a collaborative and instructional leader

- leadership experience is welcomed but not essential.

- have knowledge and willingness to embrace the 'Science of Reading Philosophy'.

Ensure that one of the referees is your current principal.
