Visual Arts Teacher Position



We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Visual Arts teacher to join our team at St Kevin's School. The successful applicant will be responsible for teaching Visual Arts lessons to students from Prep to Year 6.



Key Responsibilities


  • Develop and implement engaging Visual Arts programs that cater to the needs of students
  • Manage co-curricular activities such as Art club and provide a nurturing environment for students to develop their artistic skills
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and innovative Visual Arts curriculum
  • Foster strong relationships with students, staff, and parents to promote a love for Visual Arts and Catholic education


Requirements


  • Proven experience in teaching Visual Arts in a primary school setting
  • Avid art making skills and knowledge of art techniques suitable for Visual Arts
  • Computer literacy and ability to integrate technologies effectively in the teaching and learning program
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents
  • Registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching and accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic Primary School
