About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to pursue a career in both health and hospitality The position offers a great work-life balance, with no weekends or nights, which is rare in the hospitality industry.

The ideal candidate/s would be an enthusiastic and motivated individual with a background in health or hospitality and experience in leadership or a desire to lead. The role involves supervising a small front of house kitchen team, ensuring excellent customer service, and coordinating meal services for patients and residents.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supervising staff and training new team members
  • Coordinating patient and resident meal service and tray management
  • Overseeing day to day kitchen operations, including dishwashing and cleaning
  • Assisting with basic food preparation
  • Ensuring food safety and meeting cleaning obligations
  • Support roster management
  • Working closely with chefs and reporting to the Food Services Manager.

This full-time role typically requires working weekdays from 6:30 am to 2:30 pm, providing a hands-on

leadership experience with opportunities for career growth.

The successful candidate will need to be punctual, reliable hardworking and eager to learn.

Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
