Fyfes Energy and Resources Group works with major exploration and distribution clients to deliver specialist mining, hydrogen and renewable energy, oil and gas projects across the country. The Responsibilities:

Our Adelaide office is currently looking for an experienced stress analysis Mechanical Engineer to join their team.

As a Mechanical Engineer specialising in Stress Analysis, you will play a crucial role in producing quality designs for our top tier clients. You will consult with clients and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, including drafters, designers, and project managers.

What we will love about you:

  • Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering
  • Demonstrated experience in stress analysis designs within the oil and gas, and or mining industry.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Possess a solid understanding of ASME B31.3 and AS 2885
  • Familiar with Peng - Pipe Stress Engineering
  • Experienced in building load cases including slug loads, PSV reactive forces etc
  • Proficient with Caesar, EPDECOM and Autopipe programs
  • Experienced with modelling buried piping systems
  • Strong analytical and technical report writing skills
  • A strong commitment to client satisfaction and quality work
