Global bank seeks Senior Manager, Finance Systems Projects in their Sydney office for PeopleSoft project.

Collaborative team, flexible working environment (3/2 split), and excellent management. 

The main responsibilities of the role;

  • Identify strategic opportunities, build business cases and stakeholder support and implementing governance of data and reporting tools as required
  • Leveraging strategic data initiatives such as sub-ledger, Oracle EPM  and other data assets
  • Reduce complexity and bespoke customisations, ensuring platform stays “evergreen” and is ready for any strategic future upgrade plans
  • Build out relationships with group finance and BU finance teams to better understand use cases for EPM stack “voice of customer”
  • Simplify & rationalise excel templates, and leverage Narrative Reporting for month-end flash reporting
  • Re-imagine ERP modules suites dashboard capabilities
  • Be able to contribute to design and planning sessions involving upstream (ERP and sub-ledger) and downstream finance use cases

We’re interested in hearing from people who possess;

  • Bachelor's degree + CA / CPA 
  • PeopleSoft experience (essential)
  • Financial control experience including reconciliation, analysis, investigation and reporting
  • Knowledge of transforming customer system data to General Ledger reporting
  • Systems implementation / integration experience 
  • Knowledge and experience in using Teradata and Essbase cubes (or database structures) viewed favourably 
  • Ability to identify and analyse errors, and resolve or escalate as appropriate
  • Continuous Improvement mindset and productivity techniques
  • Full Australian working rights & fluent English skills
