Position Overview:

The Local Area Marketing Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting the marketing team in developing and executing various marketing initiatives and campaigns. This position requires a creative thinker with excellent organisational skills and a passion for marketing. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of marketing strategies to promote products/services.
  • Coordinate and execute marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including radio, digital, social media, email, print, and events.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local communities and organisations to enhance the brand presence in the area.
  • Supporting the company's store managers with marketing promotions and activities for store growth within the local area.
  • Plan and execute in-store promotions and events to attract foot traffic, improve customer loyalty and boost sales
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to create marketing materials, presentations, advertisements, and promotional items in-line with set budgets.
  • Monitor and analyse marketing performance metrics and provide reporting.
  • Provide administrative support to the marketing team, including scheduling meetings and updating marketing calendars.

Qualifications:

  • Experience (1-3 years) in marketing, advertising, or related roles.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for marketing and a willingness to learn and adapt.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
