Your Next Opportunity 
 
An excellent opportunity exists for an experienced Sales Manager to become a part of the Daimler Milperra team. The successful candidate will lead and manage the sales team, ensuring excellent customer service is being provided by the team while promoting a collaborative working relationship between Sales, Service and Parts departments.  
This position will have a key focus on providing structure and strategy that drives market share and enhances gross profit and volume while , ensuring correct processes are in place to support an efficient and high performing Sales department. 
 
About The Role: 

  • Lead/Support, Budgeting, forecasting and reporting requirements 
  • Coach and guide sales consultants to ensure performance of KPI’s and sales activities are completed.  
  • Act as an escalation point for customer matters and resolve. 
  • Manage end-to-end deliveries to ensure vehicles go out as scheduled and customers are kept informed. 
  • Display a high level of safety leadership through completing safety
  • toolbox talks, participating in WHS committees, completing showroom inspections, and ensuring team members have the correct training etc.

About You: 

  • Prior leadership experience in a sales focused role
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to make presentations to others. 
  • Experience with full P&L budgeting and line-item composite profit reporting processes, ability to forecast with P&L 
  • Exhibit a high degree of emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills
  • Building teams and setting expectations to deliver desired outcomes and results. 
  • Familiarity with relevant software, including Microsoft Office, customer
  • relations management system and dealer management systems.  
  • Time management and prioritisation skills to meet deadlines and close sales in a timely manner. 
  • Willingness to adapt and implement new marketing strategies and sales methods. 
  • Quick thinking to provide creative solutions that address customers' needs and concerns. 
  • Coordinate marketing and advertising activities
  • Current unrestricted drivers’ licence
