About the Role:

Council is seeking a Subdivision Engineer to cover long service leave within our Design team.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management: Oversee and manage subdivision projects ensuring they meet regulatory standards and are delivered on time. Infrastructure Outcomes: Assess and facilitate environmental and infrastructure outcomes, ensuring transparency, probity, and social responsibility. Stakeholder Liaison: Work with various stakeholders to align projects with City aspirations and regulatory frameworks. Technical Support: Provide high-level technical advice, manage project documentation, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Customer Service: Address inquiries and complaints, manage project budgets, and supervise construction and materials.


Qualifications and Skills:

Education: Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent. Experience: Proven experience in subdivision construction, road and drainage design, infrastructure design, consultant and contract management. Skills: Strong project management, negotiation, conflict resolution, and stakeholder communication skills. Knowledge: Understanding of Council policies, local laws, town planning procedures, and civil engineering principles. Certifications: Certification in Worksite Traffic Management, Construction Induction Card Drivers Licence Desirable: Knowledge of Geographic Information Systems, Traffic (SIDRA), stormwater (Drains) software, and innovative problem-solving skills.


Additional Information:

Applicants must commit to rosters with a proven track record of good attendance and punctuality. Must have National Police Certificate. This role is only open to candidates on a working holiday visa, wants short-term work or LG experience
