The Opportunity:

We are looking for casual drivers to cover duties such as driving general access services, occasional school bus services and charter work on a rotating roster from our New Norfolk depot. You would be required to work some weekends and public holidays.

Bus driving experience is highly desirable but not essential. You will need to have great people skills, a good driving history, and be able to effectively manage passengers whilst driving. 

You will be responsible for safely operating the designated service, and will be required to undertake ticketing, assisting passengers on and off your vehicle, and may be required to assist in the loading and unloading of luggage.

The boxes you'll tick:

• Excellent customer service skills and enjoy working with the public
• A current TAS Medium Rigid (MR) driving licence (or above)
• A Tasmanian Public Passenger Vehicle licence
• Working with Vulnerable People authority
• Be able to pass a pre‐employment functional and drug & alcohol clearance
• Australian Work Rights
• Fully vaccinated for COVID-19, or prepared to be vaccinated
