About the Role
We're in search of a dynamic Project Manager who thrives onsuccess, flourishes in a dynamic environment, and is renowned for fosteringrobust relationships with both customers and internal stakeholders.

In thisrole, you'll be reporting to the State Major Projects Manager, functioningwithin the Kennards Major Projects division. Your primary responsibility willbe supporting major projects onsite for our Tier 1 clients in the Melbourne region. Regional travel may be required.

Collaboration with nearby Hire branches will be pivotal asyou work towards satisfying the business needs of our major projects clientele.This involves coordinating onsite tasks, ensuring optimal customer experiences,and meeting financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities

End to end management of high profile projects for our Tier 1 Major Projects Customers. Strategically plan project equipment inventory and logistics to align with customer requirements. Forge and nurture enduring customer relationships and networks. Generate reports, instigate enhancements, oversee project profitability, and compile safety work method statements. Aid in the creation of subcontractor purchase orders while orchestrating site scheduling and deliveries. Oversee general project administration and correspondence with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and consultants. Champion asset management endeavors. Note that travel may be necessary for projects in remote areas.

Who You Are

You bring a proven track record of engaging with customers in a management/supervisory capacity, showcasing exceptional delegation and delivery skills. Your financial acumen is strong, accompanied by hands-on experience in effectively managing P&L statements Background in the building and construction sector, affirming your in-depth industry expertise. A valid and current driver's license is an essential requirement for the role. Multitasking and schedule management are your strong suits. You hold intermediate proficiency in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, etc.).
