Spotlight Retail Group, Australia's leading specialty retailer, is seeking a talented Assistant Financial Accountant to join our dynamic finance team.

As an integral part of our finance team, you will play a key role in supporting our financial operations. From assisting with store setup and banking to contributing to month-end close and year-end audits, you'll gain exposure to a diverse range of accounting functions.
What you'll do:
Dive into the heart of our financial operations, supporting store setups, banking queries, and month-end processes. Collaborate with offshore banking team in Manila to ensure seamless processes Contribute to month-end close and year-end audit activities Support balance sheet reconciliations and ad hoc reporting Identify opportunities to streamline financial processesWhat you'll bring:
A business or accounting degree with a strong academic record You Must Have at least 2+ years of experience in a finance role Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills A proactive and problem-solving mindset Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (SAP experience is a plus) A passion for retail and a desire to learn and growWhy Spotlight Retail Group?
