Your Opportunity
Our SAP Applications team has an amazing opportunity for a seasoned SAP pro with a proven track record of successfully managing multiple technical developments at once.
The Principal SAP Developer will play a key role in leading the technical development, support, and enhancement of our SAP systems. This role is perfect for someone with leadership experience (team leader or supervisor) and customer-facing experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the identification and analysis of business issues, developing top-notch technical solutions that meet our needs.
- Be the go-to-expert for our internal SAP functional consultants, providing them with reliable technical advice.
- Take charge of our Quality Assurance processes, ensuring our project deliverables are spot-on and built to last.
- Be a champion for safety, contributing to a Zero Harm work environment where everyone’s wellbeing is a priority.
- Share your knowledge and mentor your colleagues, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth within our SAP team.
- Bring your innovative ideas to the table, helping us improve our processes and products to deliver even better customer service.
Who We’re Looking For
Technical Skills:
- ABAP Development Expertise: Strong experience in ABAP programming, with a focus on object-oriented ABAP (OO ABAP), ABAP CDS, and ABAP SQL.
- S/4HANA Proficiency: Deep understanding of S/4HANA enhancements, including Fiori, UI5, OData, and CDS views.
- SAP BTP Knowledge: Familiarity with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) is beneficial for integration and extension capabilities.
- Cross-Platform System Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of system capabilities within the SAP ecosystem across various platforms.
Soft Skills:
- Can define and drive top-notch Quality Assurance processes for sustainable SAP solutions
- A strong and supportive leader who can inspire and develop staff, deliver outstanding customer service, and drive innovation.
- A communication whiz who can clearly explain complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- A creative problem-solver with a knack for analysing tricky situations and finding the best solutions.

Remuneration & Employment Type
This is a permanent, fulltime position, based in Brisbane CBD with a starting base salary of $146,240plus 12.75% superannuation and hybrid work options to support the balance between work and personal commitments.
