About Our Client

A market leading boutique firm, who have seen a staggering amount of organic growth over the last two years. We are seeking a skilled Business Advisory Accountant, who is commercially minded and keen to make a difference. Job Description

As an Intermediate Accountant you will report to the Senior Business Services Accountant and be responsible for the following:

  • Preparation of complex financial statements;
  • Preparing management accounting reports for review;
  • Reviewing tax and FBT returns and identifying non-compliance issues from them;
  • Business advisory services
  • Providing tax planning advice for clients;
  • Preparing tax returns for all entities and Business Activity Statements;
  • Quarterly and annual tax compliance matters.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will be commercially minded, and have at least 3 years experience in a similar business advisory role and have an excellent understanding of Australian taxation and compliance. The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:

  • Actively working toward your CA or CPA qualification.
  • At least 3+ years experience in a similar business advisory role.
  • Excellent hands on and theoretical knowledge of Australian taxation and compliance.
  • Demonstrated experience of stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
