Impressive Chartered Accounting Practice Our client is seeking an accountant with 2+ years of experience to join their vibrant office based in Melbourne Inner South.

  • WFH 1-2 days
  • Study support for CA/CPA

The Company
Our client is a CA practice that provides a broad range of accountancy services to a wide selection of clients. They have a very fun and social office culture, and understand the importance of a good work/life balance.
  
The Opportunity
This highly reputable accounting practice is seeking a motivated Intermediate Accountant with a passion for business services and taxation. You will continue to gain experience in Business Services and Taxation while being trusted with more client exposure, complex and challenging work. Joining a supportive and collaborative team your key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing financial statements for all entities including companies, partnerships, trusts, and superannuation funds
  • Preparing tax returns for the above entities as well as individuals
  • Preparing and lodging Business Activity Statements and Instalment Activity Statements
  • Taxation advice

About You

  • 2+ years experience working in a local public practice
  • Excellent communications skills - both written and verbal
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Positive and enthusiastic attitude
  • Ability to research tax issues as required
  • Personal and team skills - ability to work well with different staff / clients / stakeholders
  • Degree qualified and commenced or looking to commence CA
