We have an exciting opportunity for a Change Lead to join our People and Capability team on a Fixed-Term Contract Reporting to the Head of Organisational Development and Culture, the primary purpose of this role is to facilitate a seamless transition ahead of, during, and immediately after an upcoming office relocation, ensuring minimal disruption to operations and a smooth team member experience.


What you’ll be doing


As a Change Lead working for Kmart you will:


•    Be responsible for ensuring a smooth transition by managing aspects of the change process, including the creation of change resources, broader project collateral, communication, training, and support
•    Support the execution of a change management strategy, coordinating with various departments, managing logistics, and supporting team members throughout the move 
•    Shape and support the rollout of change awareness and change capability uplift across stakeholder groups and business colleagues
•    Maintain productivity and morale during the change period, while also aligning the relocation process with culture and objectives 
•    Guide stakeholders across the business, create resources, collateral and communications to implement change effectively                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     
•    Monitor and measure the success of change initiatives, making adjustments as necessary
•    Liaise with, manage and lead as an agent of change with internal and external stakeholders through strong and collaborative communication skills, working closely with the Premises Relocation Committee                                 
•    Utilise specific expertise and capability in communications management and methodology
•    Shape and support the rollout of change awareness and change capability uplift across stakeholder groups and business colleagues


To be successful in this role you will have:


•    5-7 years relevant experience in change management 
•    Demonstrated experience in managing and leading transformational and sustainable change
•    Strategic thinking and business acumen
•    Experience in delivering strategic projects across large organisations
•    Experience in delivering fit-for-purpose content on large scale projects 
•    Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with a variety of audiences
•    Certification in Change Management (Prosci, CCMP) is highly desirable
