With our proven ability to attract and retain top talent, we are looking for a Design Manager to be the spearhead for our Perth operation with a focus on Customer, Employee and User Experience who thrives on challenge and who is hungry to grow in their ability and knowledge.
The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience leading design teams and possess the ability to strategise with clients while maintaining strong account relationships. You will play a crucial role in guiding our design projects, ensuring client satisfaction, and fostering a collaborative and innovative environment within the team

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Providing mentorship, guidance, and support to ensure the highest quality of work.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives and design requirements and develop strategic design solutions that meet their needs.
  • Maintain and strengthen client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Oversee the entire project design process, from initial planning and concept development to final delivery, ensuring all projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the design team, encouraging creative thinking and the exploration of new design methodologies.
  • Work closely with other departments within Infosys to integrate design solutions with technical implementations and ensure seamless project delivery.

Skills /Competencies:

Essential:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in design, User Experience, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
  • Over 10 years of experience in design management, with a proven track record of leading and managing design teams.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop innovative design solutions that align with client objectives.
  • Excellent client management and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships with business and technology stakeholders.
  • Extensive experience with design tools and software, and a strong understanding of design principles and methodologies.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills and attention to detail, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • A sense of humour
