The role

  • Migrating existing codebase to integrate with a new data source, involving:
    • Assessing the compatibility of current code with the new data source
    • Refactoring and optimising code to ensure seamless integration with the new data source
    • Updating data GCP queries and connections to align with the new data source
    • Testing and debugging to ensure smooth data flow and minimal disruptions
  • Optimising code for power BI efficiency by:
    • Implementing efficient data modeling and visualisation techniques
    • Leveraging Power BI's capabilities and optimisation features
    • Improving report and dashboard design to reduce rendering time and enhance user experience
  • Creating high-quality, modular code that is:
    • Robust: Reliable, stable, and fault-tolerant, with built-in error handling and logging
    • Reusable: Designed to be modular and adaptable, with clear documentation and minimal dependencies
  • Storing and managing your code in a centralised repository, such as GitLab
  • Understanding of CI/CD process
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders

  • Transform our analytics and reporting capabilities, moving us from descriptive reporting to interactive analytics and insights.
  • Deliver Daily, Weekly, Monthly & Ad-Hoc reports and analysis for our various stakeholders.
  • Automate manual reporting processes using ETL tools and techniques.
  • Drive value from enterprise analytics software (Power BI)
  • Drive value from integrations between the Enterprise Data Warehouse, data lake, cloud platforms and front-end analysis and reporting solutions
  • Develop robust, reusable codes which will be stored in our libraries.
  • Democratise analytics by building beautiful, usable dashboards, visualisations and reports.
  • Understand and integrate data from third party applications into custom reports & dashboards & reports.
  • Become the SME and go-to source.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis using various data sources, tools, and techniques to identify opportunities for cost optimisation, revenue enhancement, and overall financial performance improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance & Operations to gather and analyse contact centre data, identify trends, patterns, and insights, and provide recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
  • Create and maintain financial models, forecasts, and dashboards to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), track financial performance, and provide timely and accurate reporting to senior leaders.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to data analysis, visualisation, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and innovation in analysis and reporting, and measure the financial benefits of your activities.
  • Present complex data and insights in a clear and concise manner for stakeholders to facilitate understanding and drive informed decision-making.
  • Identify and report potential risks or inadequate controls related to compliance or operational risks.
  • Champion a culture of risk and compliance across the division
  • Maintain awareness, understanding and compliance with Company policies and procedures, including the on-time completion of mandatory training.
