About the Role:
Are you passionate about protecting critical systems from cyber threats? We are seeking three Cyber Security Analysts to join a dynamic team responsible for detecting and responding to both domestic and international cyber threats. This is your chance to play a key role in safeguarding essential services, working with cutting-edge tools, and contributing to a robust cyber security framework.
As a Cyber Security Analyst, you’ll monitor ICT environments, identify and respond to threats, and work closely with technical and business teams to ensure the integrity and security of critical systems. This role provides an excellent opportunity to grow your skills in cyber security, threat intelligence, and incident response, while making a meaningful impact.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze cyber security data to detect and address threats effectively.
  • Implement appropriate actions to mitigate attacks and restore system operations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to improve security measures and document outcomes.
  • Conduct threat hunting and provide actionable threat intelligence.
  • Contribute to the development of cyber security incident response procedures.
  • Participate in mentoring and ongoing training.

About You:
To thrive in this role, you’ll bring:

  • Strong experience using Sentinel or similar SIEM solutions.
  • Familiarity with the Australian Government Information Security Manual (ISM).
  • Knowledge of best-practice cyber security monitoring processes.
  • Proven experience in cyber incident response.
  • [Desirable] Prior experience in cyber security monitoring within or for federal government entities.
