About the Role

With work across the Adelaide Metro area and working with one of Adelaide’s leading commercial electrical companies, Techforce currently have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, A-grade service electrician that is looking to utilise their industry expertise and skills. Role on offer will have a view to permanency for the right candidate.
  
Key Accountabilities include:
  

  • Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical wiring and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools.
  • Diagnose malfunctioning systems using testing equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdowns.
  • Inspect electrical systems to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.
  • Advise management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous.
  • Supervise, direct and train workers to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures from time to time.
  • A requirement to perform shift, overtime, weekend and living away work as required.

  
Skills and Experience

  • 1st & 2nd Fix.
  • Terminations. LV & HV
  • Install of cable tray and ladder.
  • Installation and upgrades of switchboards.
  • Running of cables.
  • Sub mains
  • Cable pulls
  • UPS

To be successful, you MUST HAVE :

  • A Class Electrical Licence
  • LVR / CPR Certificate
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • White Card.
  • Current drivers’ licence.
  • DCSI & National police clearance or be willing to obtain
