About the Role

Step into a pivotal role at Tabcorp as a Controls Assurance Senior Analyst, where you'll play a key part in driving a culture of continuous improvement within our Risk team. With an opportunity to improve, create, and uplift processes, you’ll deliver robust control assurance while embedding best practices across our risk management framework. This includes strengthening Tabcorp’s 3LoD (Three Lines of Defense) approach and fostering proactive risk management to make our business better, stronger, and more resilient.

What you'll do

  • Deliver assurance reviews: Plan and execute end-to-end control reviews, providing actionable insights to improve performance.
  • Enhance processes: Design and implement new assurance processes and reporting to uplift standards and efficiency.
  • Perform testing and reporting: Conduct control testing, draft reports, and track action plans to ensure effective risk mitigation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders: Engage with teams across the business to identify solutions, resolve issues, and drive improvements.

What you'll bring

  • Experience: At least 3 years in external audit, assurance, controls testing, internal audit, or risk roles.
  • Strategic mindset: Strong understanding of governance, risk, and controls, with the ability to align solutions to business goals.
  • Problem solver: Analytical, organised, and focused on identifying root causes and delivering practical solutions.
  • Change agent: A proven ability to uplift and improve processes to achieve measurable outcomes.
