The Senior Director, Procurement and Purchasing is responsible for leading and managing a small team in the delivery and undertaking of procurement activities across the ACT Emergency Services Agency.
The Senior Director will provide guidance and assistance on complex procurement cases with a view to ensuring compliance under the Government Procurement Act 2001 (ACT), Government Procurement Regulations 2007 (ACT) and relevant policies and procedures.

Eligibility/Other requirements
Relevant experience in the Public Sector at local, state, or federal level is highly desirable. Extensive experience and qualifications in procurement and contract management is highly desirable. Demonstrated experience in financial /procurement systems is highly desirable. Background / Security clearance checks will be conducted. Driver’s Licence Class C is essential. This position does not require a Working with Vulnerable People Check.Notes: This is a permanent opportunity with the ACT Emergency Services Agency. A merit list will be established to fill these and future vacancies that may arise over the next twelve months including (but not limited to) the above-mentioned Business Units.
