About the role

In this entry level role, you will be responsible for supporting the Pay and Benefits team in ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll and related remuneration benefits, including Salary Packaging.

No prior payroll experience is required, as you will receive comprehensive training from experienced team members. This role offers a unique opportunity to learn about CPA processes, payroll industry standards, and legislation. As you gain expertise, you'll have the flexibility to shape your career path within the payroll field.

This role is based on site at our head office in Allambie Heights with hybrid work options.

Responsibilities of the role (not limited to):

  • Preparing for payroll processing by setting up new employee records and updating existing ones
  • Supporting the end-to-end payroll process to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Maintaining accurate and current employee records
  • Providing support to employees regarding payroll-related inquiries
  • Generating remuneration statements and quotes as needed for the organisation

About you:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Detail-oriented with strong mathematical abilities
  • Flexible, collaborative, and able to multitask effectively
  • Team player who remains calm under pressure
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
