Job Description

Working closely with the Operations Manager, you are someone who represents our friendly and professional service philosophy. A proactive attitude that translates to a high performance mindset and outstanding attention to detail will also be brought by the successful applicant. 

Ensure efficient, friendly and professional food and beverage service is provided to all guests. Leading the service of your shift Assisting with rostering and ordering Liaise with customers and Chef/kitchen team to ensure service times are adhered to. Ensure revenue for the shift is accounted for with cash/charge summary being completed to balance daily activities. Set up systems to protect and maintain control of restaurant and conference service equipment, correctly recording breakages and carry our regular stock takes. Ensure all mis-en-place is completed prior to guests arriving. Ensure staff are competent in all service procedures and they are able to maximize sales to guests. Staff skill testing, training and development to maintain a constant focus on providing an excellent guest experience Set up and pack down of events/conference rooms and coordination on the day when required Coordination of cleaning and maintenance of outlets, work areas, tableware, and utensils and other materials and equipment Handle any escalated guest complaints to a guest focussed solution. Be knowledgeable of and operate within the outlet and hotel liquor licensing guidelines and House Management Policies.
Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

Flexibility to work various shifts including week-ends, nights and public holidays Previous experience in a F&B Supervisory role Excellent communication skills Being a true hospitality professional dedicated to providing customer service excellence Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Barista skilled Full Australian Working Rights - this role is not available to be sponsored
