Role: Business Analyst / Domain Consultant

 

Skill Set:-

 

The Business Analyst / Domain Consultant supports the delivery of a project and initiatives. The role requires engagement with internal and external resources and typically combines knowledge of the energy sector and broader experience in effective business analysis:

- 3YRs+ experience in SCADA, WAMS and DER Management systems.

- Experience in Energy Transition domain, Grid Operations and Asset & Actor modelling.

- Working experience of SCADA protocols (IEC104, ICCP), Alarms & event processing, Historian, Network Modelling, CIM framework, Energy Market Operations and control room operations.

- Understanding of GE products – GridOS, AGC, AEMS, Operational Forecasting and Dynamic Security Assessment (DSA).

- Working experience of GE Products – GridOS, AGC, AEMS, Operational Forecasting

 

Mandatory Skills:-

 

- A strong knowledge of the energy sector, including both industry and regulatory matters;

- Extensive experience gathering, writing and analyzing requirements and taking them through to conceptualization with experience in authoring technical documentation and end user documentation;

- Excellent analytical skills, including a proven ability to quickly analyze and develop data models, identify patterns, business rules, workflows and interfaces;

- Proven ability to conceptualize, develop and articulate solutions and to specify functional / non-functional technical requirements that are well accepted by stakeholders within short time-frames;

- Effectively communicate (verbal or written) to internal and external stakeholders. Sound interpersonal, consultation and facilitation skills coupled with proven ability to work collaboratively with a broad range of diverse internal teams;

- Ability to work as directed, while using initiative and gather experience to take preventative steps when required to ensure that a program or project meets deliverable targets.
