About the Team
At Service Delivery, we're committed to engaging with participants and managing their plans and supports. Our State/Territory-based business units play a crucial role in ensuring that we provide accessible and consistent experiences for participants across the nation.
About the Role
As an APS3 Participant Support Officer, you'll be the backbone of our service delivery, managing workflows, setting priorities, and producing high-quality work that is regularly monitored by senior team members. Your role will involve a range of clerical, administrative, and operational tasks, including basic research and analysis.
- Serve as the first point of contact for participants, customers, and stakeholders, providing high-quality service in person, over the phone, and via email.
- Manage team email inboxes, calendars, and appointments, ensuring timely responses.
- Handle straightforward enquiries and provide resolution using available information and scripts.
- Support participants during in-person appointments and address their needs efficiently.
- Assist with administrative and operational support tasks, including data entry, record-keeping, and coordinating internal meetings.
- Arrange travel, process invoices, raise resource requests, and respond to property and maintenance issues.
- Provide on-the-job support for peers and collaborate effectively within the team.
About you
To thrive in this role, you need:
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in managing emails, calendars, and appointments.
- Ability to handle straightforward tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborative mindset with a commitment to working well in a team environment.
- Be able to pass and hold a national police check and worker screening check.
- Must be an Australian Citizen.
