SkyPoint is located on the 77th floor of the Gold Coast’s Q1 building and is truly an extraordinary venue, 230 meters in the sky. We are searching for experienced and passionate Team Leaders to guide our team in ensuring our guests have a positive and memorable SkyPoint Experience in our Food & Beverage and Events department.

Our Food & Beverage team provide an all-day dining experience in our SkyPoint Bistro + Bar, ensuring an exceptional SkyPoint experience is delivered to our guests experiencing the best views on the Gold Coast from level 77. Our Events team execute an exceptional variety of events and offer exciting and unique opportunities to showcase our beautiful venue

The ideal candidate will have the flexibility to handle the details of hands-on daily operations along with guiding and directing the workflow of our team members, to interact and connect with our guests as the face of our company. The most successful Team Leaders will be passionate about quality control and continuous guest satisfaction, achieved through consistent and effective leadership and engagement.

To be considered, you must have:

  • Previous leadership experience within a similar high-volume events or hospitality environment;
  • Passion and enthusiasm for delivering an outstanding guest service experience;
  • Ability to lead by example, train, coach and motivate and engage team members at the frontline;
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills;
  • Experience working with POS Database Systems and competent cash handling/management;
  • Ability to perform manual handling and physically demanding work tasks;
  • Availability to be rostered across five days flexibility with working hours is essential as weekend, early morning and evening work is involved.

This part time (PT30) employment guarantees a minimum of 30 hours per week over a cyclic roster. It is a condition of PT30 employment that you must be available to work a minimum of 5 days within a 7-day work cycle, inclusive of weekends.  As a part time team member, you will accrue leave entitlements on a pro-rata basis. Part time team members are also given priority to rostered hours. Good availability and flexibility with working hours are essential. Shifts will vary ranging from early mornings, afternoons, late nights, weekends, and Public Holidays.
