Your next opportunity 

We are actively seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Engineer to join our thriving Regional Queensland Concrete and Quarries business. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and executing capital works projects under $1 million. This role is ideal for someone with entry-level experience who is eager to gain more exposure in the industry. 

This pivotal role captures our 30 concrete plants and 9 quarries in regional QLD from Toowoomba to Darwin.  

Your day will involve: 

  • Lead safety, quality, delivery, and financial aspects of projects across our regional and remote operations 
  • Provide effective team leadership, engaging with multiple internal departments to exceed client expectations. 
  • Provide regular reporting on project budgets, schedules, look ahead and at-risk activities. 
  • Complete all documentation for efficient costing, raw material management, and invoicing for projects in your area of responsibility. 

What are we looking for? 

  • Tertiary qualification in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering would be highly desirable, or 2-3 years industry experience would also be considered. 
  • Flexibility to travel across regional QLD. 
  • Competent professional with an appetite for working in and enhancing an inclusive open team. 
  • Effective negotiator and highly competent communicator. 
  • Excellent communication skills and advanced skills in Microsoft Suite, including MS Project.
