Are you a professionally qualified civil / structural engineer with a connection to the outdoors / boating / yachting lifestyle and looking to bring together your profession and your passion? My client is a leading engineering design consultancy with a 30 year history of projects across Australia and globally planning, designing and doing feasibility work on marinas, floating structures and associated marina facilities. Business growth and succession planning has created the potential of 2 open positions for structural engineers: One a more junior role with at least 3 years of experience and the second, a senior role with around 10.

Your role

  • The delivery of structural engineering design solutions with high quality, meeting business / customer timing requirements
  • To work with external stakeholders and customers to lead the process of driving customer needs into engineering requirements
  • To work closely within the businesses team of Civil / Structural and CAD professionals to deliver a great team outcome

About you

  • Minimum Bachelor of Engineering degree qualification in civil engineering with post graduate qualifications in structural engineering highly regarded
  • There is the potential for multiple roles: a more junior role where you will have demonstrated at least 3 years of post graduate experience in an Australian Standards governed structural engineering position and a senior role where you will have demonstrated around 10 years of experience
  • Eligible for MIEAust and RPEQ
  • A genuine personal background and passion for the boating / sailing lifestyle is highly regarded
