Confluence Water delivers design, construction, maintenance and facilities management services in Sydney Water's North region, which stretches from Sydney Harbour to the Hawkesbury River and includes the Hills Shire.

THE ROLE

We have an opportunity for a Mechanical Senior Project Engineer to join our North Head team on a permanent, full-time basis. Reporting to the Project Manager, your main responsibility will be to help deliver a number of critical infrastructure projects. You will demonstrate skills across all disciplines including SMP, E&I and Commissioning with highly regarded experience in industrial ventilation fans and water treatment plants. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in the full lifecycle of your projects, commencing with concept design of a greenfield site, and continuing into construction and commissioning.

ABOUT YOU

Relevant Degree in Engineering - Mechanical highly regarded Industrial experience with water treatment plants, large ventilation systems, pumps, chemical dosing, and structures (18m high) Strong acumen of construction methodologies, processes, standards Ability to manage multiple project packages concurrently Developing mentoring skills and an appetite for developing others Demonstrated management and organisational skills Demonstrated experience in collaborative and consultative processes at a professional level Demonstrated interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work as a member of a team Demonstrated written communication and IT skills An ability to work flexibly and adaptively in a complex environment with multiple stakeholders.
