Job Description
About the role
Role provided on a fixed term basis for 12 months covering maternity leave.
Based in Silverwater, NSW & reporting to the General Manager – Human Resources, you will use your generalist experience to provide a high quality, responsive & professional Human Resource service within the Southern Region as well as Support Office.
In this role you will:-
- Support the creation & delivery of HR projects, initiatives & solutions that are tailored to business requirements, implementing workplace practices & programs that align to business growth strategy
- Support the creation & maintenance of a relevant, accurate & inclusive HR Framework of policies and procedures
- Lead the succession planning & talent management process at a Regional level to support the development & retention of our high-potential employees
- Lead recruitment & selection activities across the Region, including international resourcing & associated responsibilities
- Provide expert advice & support in relation to industrial instruments & employment law
- Support people leaders in driving people processes which improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity & retention
Desired Skills and Experience
Skills and experience
- Tertiary qualifications in HR with generalist experience in a similar role, providing strategic and operational advice to leaders
- High level end to end recruitment & selection skills, including talent searching
- Ability to engage & communicate with clarity, purpose & impact across all levels
- Proficiency in advising on & managing employment relations issues
- Knowledge of current HR practices, trends & strategies
