Wood has a requirement for a Graduate Engineer – Integrity Management to join our Consulting team in Perth as part of our 2025 intake.
To be considered you should have completed your Civil / Structural Engineering degree by the end of 2024 or earlier.
You will join our Asset Integrity Management team under the Topside, Onshore and Subsea integrity discipline. The role will report to the Team Lead at an exciting time of continued team growth and ongoing expansion.
Our ideal applicant will have completed their degree in Structural / Civil Engineering from an accredited University. Those with an interest in Data Science / Data Analytics and have pursued further studies in this field are encouraged to apply.
On joining the team you will be an active member of a collaborative, dynamic and technically skilled group. This is a sensational opportunity for those keen to explore Integrity / Asset Management and develop their professional and technical skills, gain hands on experience and make an impact within a supportive team. Our successful candidate will quickly be involved in providing consulting and engineering solutions, understanding the issues of key clients and responding by delivering improved outcomes while balancing integrity, safety, performance and cost.
Wood has a requirement for a Graduate Engineer – Integrity Management to join our Consulting team in Perth as part of our 2025 intake. To be considered you should have completed your Civil / Structural Engineering degree by the end of 2024 or earlier.
At Wood it takes a diverse range of people to achieve the level of impact we are having on the global energy sector. As a successful member of the 2025 Graduate intake, you will be enrolled in Wood’s Graduate Programme and assigned a buddy to support you throughout.
What we look for in these roles:
- Completed your Civil / Structural Engineering degree by the end of 2024 or earlier. Further qualifications or working toward a degree in Commerce / Business / Data Analytics / Data Science or previous commercial exposure would be advantageous
- Previousexperience or appreciation for how work is conducted in operational facilities to maintain safety, reliability and performance would also be advantageous
- Strong IT skills and ideally have a keen interest in programming and data analysis
- Attention to detail: You will be responsible for creating detailed designs and specifications and must pay close attention to detail to ensure the accuracy and safety of the work
- Teamwork: Most engineering projects require collaboration and teamwork, so strong interpersonal and collaboration skills are essential
- Adaptability: Engineering is a constantly evolving field, and as a Graduate engineer you should be able to adapt to new technologies and techniques
- Problem solving: Engineering often requires finding creative solutions to complex problems. Good critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills are highly valued
- Communication skills: The ability to communicate technical information in a clear and concise manner is important for a Graduate engineer. This includes the ability to write reports, give presentations, and explain complex technical concepts to non-technical colleagues
- Continuous Learning: Technologies and methodologies are constantly changing so staying up to date is an important attribute
- Creativity: have that innate ability to “think outside the box”
- Analytical ability: ability to think analytically to fully define a problem and develop solutions suited to the problem
- Logical thinking: ability to understand how a system works, what can go wrong and how to fix it. This requires the ability to think logically and evaluate and understand each element that makes up the system
- Leadership: well-developed “human skills” so you can smoothly perform non-technical duties
- Respect for health and safety protocols: this is more of a requirement than a skill but adherence to policies that aim to eliminate or mitigate risk is a necessity
