Becoming a data driven education institute is a BKI strategic priority and in role as Technical Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. You will collaborate closely with various teams, including Performance and Reporting Insight leads, report developers, and data engineers, to ensure that the technical aspects align with the business requirements.

Your key focus will involve translating these requirements into detailed technical specifications and ensuring that any emerging data modelling work is well-documented and effectively communicated across relevant stakeholders. This role is crucial in ensuring that technology serves the needs of the business effectively.

We are excited about you because you have:

  • Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst in support of metric reporting, data pipeline development, preferably within an educational setting.
  • Proficiency in data visualisation and report development (ideally PowerBI)
  • Proficiency in SQL to support data analysis and profiling.
  • Experience in supporting the specification and development of data pipelines in to cloud platform.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated success working in a team environment as part of a broader data and insight team.
  • Interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with business and technical specialist colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional business and technical teams.
  • Continuous learning mindset and a passion for fostering a culture of learning and development
