About the role

We are looking for a Field Service Technician, on a FIFO (fly-in, fly-out) 8 days on, 6 days off roster from Perth to assist our team in Kalgoorlie on a permanent, full-time basis.

Reporting to the Team Leader, the role is responsible for maintaining Onsite assets on our customer sites.

In Kalgoorlie you will be working on our diverse product range including access equipment, compaction, materials handling, power generation, lighting, excavation, earthmoving, pumps and more. Your role will be to:

  • Carry mechanical inspections, servicing, diagnostics and repairs across our product range in field (and in workshop as required)
  • Ensure all required paperwork is completed and submitted in full and on time
  • Assist in monitoring reliability and equipment readiness for hire at branch level
  • Inspect equipment upon return and immediately report any customer equipment damage to your manager to allow costs to be captured / recouped
  • Clean equipment in preparation for hire
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with customers (as required) and suppliers

  • A mechanical trade qualification
  • Sound mechanical knowledge and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to work effectively out int he field as well as in the branch workshop
