About the position:
AWX is actively recruiting multiple Trade positions including Carpenters, Painters, Plasterers and Trade Assistants to assist with building portable homes.

What you'll do:

Carpenters : Both qualified professionals and trade assistants to help with door framing, house skirting, and other carpentry tasks.
Plasterers : Experienced in setting and plastering to install and set plasterboard.
Painters: Skilled in painting both the internal and external areas of tiny homes.

What you'll need:

  • A reliable car and valid driver's license
  • Previous experience in a similar role, working alongside various trades
  • Physical fitness and ability to handle the demands of the job
  • Australian citizenship or permanent residency
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn

Benefits:

  • Full-time hours, ongoing work with potential for full-time employment for suitable candidates
  • Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
  • Competitive hourly wage: $36-$38 for Trade Assistants, $40-$43.50 for Qualified Carpenters, plus penalties where applicable and superannuation
