The Role

  • Manage daily settlement files and process payments for a large client base
  • Reconcile client payments on a weekly and monthly basis, handling transactions worth approximately AUD $60 million per month
  • Resolve client inquiries promptly, maintaining strong relationships
  • Enter payment-related journal entries daily and monthly
  • Match and reconcile acquirer reports with internal records
  • Analyse monthly reports and investigate any discrepancies
  • Allocate daily client payments and perform bank reconciliations for all acquirer accounts
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly and year-end financial closings
  • Generate accurate and timely standard reports, as well as handle ad-hoc tasks

The Person

  • Experience with bank reconciliation is essential
  • Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills are essential (Including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs)
  • Outgoing, confident personality, and to be able to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to analyse issue and solve them
  • Great attention to detail and the desire to progress your career with a growing company
