We are currently offering an exciting opportunity for full-time permanent Sales Support & Livestock Administration to join our Wagga Wagga branch to support our Livestock Sales team.
About the opportunity:
Reporting to the Branch Commercial Sales Support Manager, your responsibilities will include:
Processing Livestock sales; predominantly looking after private sales, other agent sales, clearing sales & saleyard sales. Attending sale days when required both at the saleyards and on farm. Provide professional and timely customer service to existing and prospective clients. Assist in managing vendor and purchaser accounts relevant to all Livestock transactions. Performing branch administrative tasks including accounts payable, expenses, banking, mail distribution and general office duties. Assist in managing vendor and purchaser accounts including reconciliation and debt collection This role includes a rotating Saturday roster (one Saturday in every three months).What we’ll love about you:
To be successful in this role you will have previous experience in a team support role in a busy environment and have a passion for Australian farming and agriculture. In addition, you will demonstrate:
A proactive approach to work and practical organisation skills Excellent attention to detail Effective verbal communications skills to build solid long-term customer relationships Problem solving skills and empathy to resolve customer issues promptly Knowledge or experience with cattle and /or sheep livestock is advantageous but not essential. Ability to identify ways to improve internal processes Excellent computer skills including SAP, Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook & the ability to learn new systems quickly Able to work efficiently and unassistedWhy work for us?
