Albury/ Wodonga is located on the picturesque Murray River only 3 hours from Melbourne. Albury Wodonga Health is one of the largest Regional health Services in New South Wales and Victoria, with a unique cross border health service that provides excellence in care to our regional communities. We are a dynamic organisation encompassing two primary campuses. The Perioperative stream conducts more than 18500 surgical procedures per year.
Who are we?
The Wodonga Perioperative unit provides specialist operative care in day and overnight General surgery, Urology, ENT, Pain, Plastics, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Ophthalmic and Endoscopy services. Our goal is to ensure that every patient has a personalised surgical journey in a safe and secure environment. We are a cohesive and friendly team who always strive for quality and best patient outcomes while having fun at the same time.
Primary responsibilities of these roles include preferable (but not essential) experience in at least one perioperative specialty; instrument/circulating, anaesthetics and/or PACU. The successful candidate must be available for the after hours on-call roster including weekends and be able to fully participate in the daily provision of perioperative services providing safe patient focused care.
