Are you passionate about Japanese cuisine and dedicated to providing exceptional dining experiences? Our client is an esteemed Japanese restaurant known for its authentic flavours and warm hospitality, is expanding its team and looking for a dynamic Floor Manager to join them on their journey.

Role Overview
As a Floor Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the restaurant floor. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures.
  • Leading and motivating our front-of-house team to deliver exceptional service.
  • Ensuring guests receive a memorable dining experience by maintaining high standards of hospitality.
  • Handling guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback with professionalism and empathy.
  • Collaborating with the kitchen team to ensure efficient service and timely delivery of food.
  • Managing inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness and organization.
  • Training and developing team members to enhance their skills and elevate our service standards.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a Japanese restaurant.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • A passion for Japanese cuisine and culture.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
